Assist with identifying and meeting basic needs providing direct assistance of food hampers, clothing, connecting with our programs and services, providing advocacy, and referrals to other service providers and agencies to meet the needs identified.

Career/ Employment and Computer Lab

Career counselling, exploration, assesment, planning and job search. Job search document development, resumes, cover letters. Computer lab access and support. Free photocopying and faxing

 


Mo’s Place  Youth Program

Mo’s Place is a free Calgary Afterschool Program, for youth ages
12 – 17. The program is offered to engage and help young people achieve personal, social and academic success. Mo’s Place provides youth with the opportunity to develop personal and social skills through group games & projects, workshops, classes, field trips and guest speakers based on need as well as interest. Mo’s Place also provides youth with FREE drop in tutoring which is offered Monday – Thursday between 5 PM & 6 PM. Mo’s Place in partnership with the community also provides youth with opportunities to be involved at community events. We trust that part of building a healthy community is helping youth experience success personally, socially and academically.

cloClothing Room

Free and accessible to all those in need. Adult and children’s clothing, Shoes, household Items, books and small toys. Available Monday – Friday 9am-11am & 1pm – 3pm pending volunteer staffing. We recommend calling ahead to ensure the Clothing Room is open. Please bring your own bags.
